Consultation has concluded
The City of Columbia Utilities would like to hear from residents regarding a proposed project on the interconnections between Boone Stephens Solar field and Bolstad substation located on Peabody Road.
The Utility is proposing to add one circuit breaker and supporting infrastructure to accommodate a generator interconnection with the Boone Stephens Solar Field. The proposed improvements are in conjunction with the solar field being constructed by Enel North America Inc. The agreement between the City of Columbia, Enel North America Inc., and Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc. was authorized by City Council in Bill B74-24.
The Utility will be holding an interested parties meeting on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 5 to 6 p.m. in Conference Room 1C at City Hall, 701. E Broadway.
Questions and comments will be accepted on this page through August 12.
