The City of Columbia Stormwater Utility would like to hear from residents regarding a proposed stormwater infrastructure improvement project in the area near Braemore Road.
This proposed project would alleviate known stormwater drainage issues near Braemore Road and Highland Drive with additional inlets and pipes.
An additional proposal would include rehabilitation of existing stormwater infrastructure on Fairview Road. The project may incorporate stormwater management features such as swales and underdrains. The Utility is also considering a curb bumpout on Summit Road that would improve capacity of the nearby stormwater inlet but would narrow the width of Summit Road.
The Utility has scheduled an interested parties meeting to discuss the proposed project for 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, in Conference Room 1B at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.
Information and diagrams showing preliminary concepts will be available for public review, and Stormwater Utility staff will be present to answer questions.
Questions and comments will be accepted on this page through April 29.
Members of the public may attend any open meeting. For requests for accommodations related to disability, please call 573.874.CITY (2489) or email City@CoMo.gov. In order to assist staff in making the appropriate arrangements for your accommodation, please make your request as far in advance of the posted meeting date as possible.
