Water fountains for bottles and packs
Assuming the trailhead will have plumbing of some sort it would be great if there was water access to easily fill a water bottle or other water packs.
Deeper parking spots
Considering most that frequent the trailhead parking make sure to take into account the longer vehicles due to racks and other bike carrying options. (even when folded up racks can add a foot or two. )

Love the planned improvements! Please address confusing trail intersections and trail layout.
I am in support of all of the ideas Parks and Recreation has proposed for this site and applaud the department for putting resources into improving our city’s ever expanding bike community and trail systems. The pump track and skills course will be a great training ground for both new and experienced mountain bikers, and a proper trailhead parking area and shelter have long been needed for Rhett’s. They will be a great addition for hosting races, cyclocross, and other trail events. If a water source is available at the site, a bottle filler and bike wash station would be nice! I hope that the Parks Department will use this master planning opportunity to address some of the issues with the trail layout of Rhetts Run and the Cosmo Nature Trail. One of the biggest issues which riders, hikers, and trail runners have in this area is difficulty with route finding. Having two separate trail systems which intersect each other at multiple locations, coupled with the fact that both trails use or cross over the Bear Creek Trail several times, leads to a lot of confusion for trail users who are not very familiar with the area. If these two trails were to be re-envisioned and combined, I believe that it would eliminate many of the route finding issues as well as create a longer, singular trail system. I understand that the decision, made 2 ½ decades ago, to have two separate trails (Rhetts and Cosmo Nature Trail) was a political one based on the fear of user conflicts between cyclists and hikers, but multi-use trail systems are now the standard in our community as well as all across the county. Rock Bridge State Park is a perfect example of this. The wetland boardwalk, which was the main destination of the CNT on longer exists and there appears to be no plan to replace it, and many sections of both the original CNT and Rhetts have been abandoned or rerouted due to erosion and poor trail design. So why not combine the remaining usable sections of the CNT with Rhetts to create a longer, more sensible, easy to navigate trail system for every one use?

An other paved pump track in Missouri would be awesome and something similar to the Rail Yard in north west Arkansas would be epic!

Design elements -air port?
Cosmo is on an old airport. The bike park should include design elements of planes, helicopters, jetways etc.
