City of Columbia Water & Light had a public information meeting to discuss the proposed water main improvement projects on April 7.

During the meeting, citizens were able to review preliminary plans, ask questions, make comments and complete a public comment form.

Projects discussed included:

  • Replacement of approximately 950 feet of water main along Walnut Street between Melbourne Street and North William Street prior to City of Columbia Public Works road paving work
  • Replacement of approximately 750 feet of piping along Woodbine Drive
  • Replacement of approximately 1,000 feet of water main along Riback Road and Blackberry Lane

Stakeholders and interested parties are invited to provide feedback and ask questions about the proposed plan.
