The City of Columbia will hold a public hearing on the proposed rate increase for the Electric Utility, at the Aug. 18 City Council meeting. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 701 East Broadway.

Rates Take Effect
If approved, the new electric rate structure would go into effect October 1, the first day of the new fiscal year (FY26).
