The City of Columbia Stormwater Utility will begin work on the Ross Street extension project May 6, 2024.

Twehous Excavating, a contractor for the Stormwater Utility, will relocate approximately 280 feet of stormwater pipe, a portion of which currently runs underneath an existing building, and add approximately 340 feet of stormwater pipe. The two inlets on South William Street will be reconstructed to accommodate the new pipe.

The work is expected to be completed in September.
