Columbia Gorge Parkway Sidewalk Project

There will be a public hearing to discuss the proposed design of the Columbia Gorge Parkway sidewalk project at the City Council meeting Monday, July 21, 2025. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.

The public hearing follows the informal open house meeting that was held May 27. The purpose of that meeting was to present design concepts for the sidewalk project, which includes the following improvements:

• Construction of a sidewalk along the south side of Columbia Gorge Parkway and the west side of Pride Mountain Drive between 5108 Columbia Gorge Parkway and 2203 Pride Mountain Drive
• Installation of a pedestrian crosswalk across Pride Mountain Drive at Columbia Gorge Parkway
• Construction of a pedestrian curb ramp to accommodate a future crosswalk across Columbia Gorge Parkway at Pride Mountain Drive
  

Construction of this project is scheduled to begin in fall 2025.
