Consultation has concluded
Public feedback is welcome for the expansion of the Columbia Sports Fieldhouse.
The second phase will include four additional hardwood courts, restrooms, office space, meeting room and common areas.
The Sports Fieldhouse was constructed to fill a need in the community for a multi-use indoor sports facility to host regional and national basketball, volleyball and pickleball tournaments. The Fieldhouse also hosts local youth and adult leagues.
Funding for the Fieldhouse expansion will come from the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau Tourism Development Fund, General Fund reserves, private donations and the voter-approved Park Sales Tax.
Please offer your input here, or feel free to drop by an interested parties meeting on Feb. 7 from 5-7 p.m. at the Sports Fieldhouse.
