Gates Nature Area Development

Columbia Parks and Recreation is seeking public input on proposed development to Gates Nature Area. Development and amenities will be based upon public input with the potential to include a natural surface trail and asphalt parking lot. The first input meeting will be held from 4 - 6 pm on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, at Cosmo-Bethel Park, Ficklin Shelter, 4500 Bethel St.

The second input meeting will be held from 4 - 6 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Cosmo-Bethel Park, Ficklin Shelter, 4500 Bethel St.
