Gates Nature Area Development

Columbia Parks and Recreation is seeking public input on proposed development to Gates Nature Area. Development and amenities will be based upon public input with the potential to include a natural surface trail and asphalt parking lot. The first input meeting was held on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025. The second input meeting was held on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Any comments or questions you have may be posted below.

A third public input meeting will be held Tuesday, July 21 from 5-7 p.m. at Flcklin Shelter at Cosmo-Bethel Park.
