The City of Columbia Sewer Utility appreciates all the feedback regarding the proposed Henderson Branch Sewer Extension to the Midway area.
The Sewer Utility has preliminary concepts for the construction of sanitary sewers near the area of N. Highway UU, W. Sugar Creek Drive, and W. Van Horn Tavern Road.
If approved, crews would construct approximately 8,600 linear feet of sewer pipe that would be available for adjacent properties to connect to the City’s public sanitary sewer. The project would allow for the removal of two private treatment facilities that are discharging into Henderson Branch and Perche Creek.

Share If this is approved, will Midway become part of city limits? Many people in that area specifically moved there to avoid being in the city of Columbia. We don't want to be serviced by Columbia Fire and especially not the Columbia Police. on FacebookShare If this is approved, will Midway become part of city limits? No. You would only be required to be annexed into the City if you wish to connect to the City's sewer.
