Consultation has concluded
The Columbia City Council will hold a public hearing regarding the Sewer Utility's proposed Henderson Branch Sewer Extension to the Midway area at its regular meeting Monday, April 21.
The Sewer Utility has presented preliminary concepts for the construction of sanitary sewers near the area of N. Highway UU, W. Sugar Creek Drive, and W. Van Horn Tavern Road.
If approved, crews would construct approximately 8,600 linear feet of sewer pipe that would be available for adjacent properties to connect to the City’s public sanitary sewer. The project would allow for the removal of two private treatment facilities that are discharging into Henderson Branch and Perche Creek.
