Hulen Drive has been identified as a street with traffic operating at speeds higher than desirable. The City of Columbia Public Works department held a second informal open house meeting Tuesday, Oct. 24, and a preliminary traffic plan can be found in the Documents section of this page.

There will be a public hearing concerning the Hulen Drive traffic calming project during the City Council meeting Tuesday, Jan. 16. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.

    Thank you for your question. We received a request look at speeds on Hulen Drive from local residents, who obtained a sufficient number of signatures for us to perform a traffic study there. I have uploaded the speed and volume results from the traffic study to the "Documents" section of the BeHeard page for Hulen Drive Traffic Calming.
