Pershing Road sidewalk project

The City of Columbia Public Works department is developing plans to construct a sidewalk along the east side of Pershing Road between Gary Street and the Again Street Park. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in fall 2027. We are sharing the project with nearby residents and property owners to provide an opportunity to learn more about the proposed sidewalk and provide feedback as the design develops.

An informal open house meeting will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in Conference Room 1B of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. City engineering staff will be available to share the design concept, answer questions and hear feedback. You can attend the open house at any time during the meeting. A public comment form will also be available.

If you cannot attend the meeting, you can submit comments and questions using the tabs below. Your feedback will help City staff understand questions and concerns from people who live, work or travel in the area.
