Columbia Parks and Recreation is seeking public input on improvements at Rainbow Softball Center at Columbia Cosmopolitan Recreation Area, 1615 Business Loop 70.

Current plans would include the installation of LED lighting and concrete backstops at all six ballfields, funded by the Park Sales Tax.

The public is invited to an interested parties meeting to offer input for this project on Tuesday, June 2, 5-7 p.m. at the Rainbow Softball Center, 1615 Business Loop 70.

Parks and Recreation staff will be available with proposed plans and will take comments and answer questions.

Future Rainbow improvements may include concession renovations, playground, shade tree plantings, batting cages and drainage improvements.

In order to assist staff in making the appropriate arrangements for your accommodation, please make your request as far in advance of the posted meeting date as possible.
