Columbia Parks and Recreation is reviewing proposed improvements at Stephens Lake Park, 100 Old 63 North.
Prior plans included expansion and improvements to the southeast parking lot off E. Broadway, trailhead services, and a service/storage area for park grounds crew. Park staff is proposing to make other needed park improvements due to changes in planned programming and reallocation of potential donations.
Improvements that are now being considered include the replacement of the playground structure near the Gordon Shelter, improvements to the Old 63 and E. Broadway entry areas, parking lot improvements, and the addition of a service/storage area for park grounds crew.
This project is funded by the voter-approved 2021 Park Sales Tax.
