The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking public input for improvements at Strawn Park and update of the park’s master plan. Improvements represent the third phase of development of Harmony Bends Disc Golf Course. These would include:

  • replacing boulder crossings with low water crossings
  • drainage improvements at holes 2, 7, 8, and 10 through 15
  • new drinking fountain
  • ADA sidewalk improvements and
  • extension of the maintenance access drive.

The public is invited to drop by an interested parties meeting to offer input for this project Wednesday, March 5, 4-6 p.m. at Columbia Farmers Market Pavilion, 1769 W. Ash

Parks and Recreation staff will be available with plans and will answer questions.

The project is funded by the voter-approved 2021 Park Sales Tax.

In order to assist staff in making the appropriate arrangements for your accommodation, please make your request as far in advance of the posted meeting date as possible.
