The City of Columbia is hosting a series of discussions about the future of 500 E. Walnut St., Suite 109, the space that currently holds the Shops at Sharp End retail space. That program is ending in September, and the space will be vacant. The City will pursue an Expression of Interest process, inviting community members to submit proposals for how the space should be used. The discussion on Thursday, Aug. 27 will focus on establishing parameters for how these proposals should be evaluated.
