NEW - A public hearing has been set for the Whitegate Drive traffic calming project during the City Council meeting Monday, Aug. 17, 2026. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. The public is welcome to attend and make their opinions heard. In the Documents section of the site, you can find the following file:

  • Whitegate Drive proposed traffic calming plan - The traffic calming plan that will be proposed to City Council Aug. 17, which would place a total of three speed humps on Whitegate Drive. These would be located at The Columbia Crossings Apartments outside 2303 Whitegate Drive, just east of Colonial Court at 2600 Whitegate Drive, and just south of Squire Court at 2700 Whitegate Drive. Also shows the dimensions and locations of the three proposed speed humps and associated signage.
