The City of Columbia Public Works department is planning to construct a roundabout at the intersection of Green Meadows Road and Bethel Street. The project will replace the existing four-way stop intersection with the goal of improving safety and traffic flow.

An interested parties meeting will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, in room 1A/1B of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. The meeting will be an informal open house where City engineering staff will share the proposed design, answer questions and receive public feedback.

Construction is currently anticipated to begin in summer 2028.

Community input is an important part of the design process. Comments submitted by the public will be reviewed and considered as the roundabout design is developed.

Comments will be accepted through Thursday, Aug. 27.

You may:

  • Attend the interested parties meeting and complete a paper comment form.
  • Submit comments using the online form below.

Project information, design exhibits and other documents will be posted on this page as they become available.
