The Pedestrian Level of Comfort (PLOC) project is complete, and a PLOC map is coming soon!
The new map will be an interactive, online tool that will quantify the comfort and safety that pedestrians and bicyclists experience at different locations. A PLOC score will be given to different areas of Columbia based on factors like roadway volume, speed, pedestrian and bike facility presence and quality, lighting, tree shade and more.
Check the Documents section of this site to read an introductory report on the PLOC map.
